Aaron Cohen-Gadol, MD

Aaron Cohen-Gadol, MD, MSc, (Dr. Cohen) is one of the world’s most preeminent neurosurgeons and a professor at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. His focus is on the treatment of complex brain and spine tumors, including meningiomas, pituitary adenomas, gliomas and acoustic neuromas, as well as arteriovenous and cavernous malformations. 

Dr. Cohen has performed more than 7400 complex brain surgeries in his career, more than any other performed by a single surgeon in the United States. These 7400 surgeries have been documented in the Neurosurgical Atlas collection, considered throughout the world as the “bible of neurosurgery”

A recipient of the Vilhelm Magnus Medal — known as the Nobel Prize in Neurosurgery, and one of only 11 medals ever awarded — for his preeminent contributions in pioneering brain surgeries that have transformed patient outcomes worldwide. He has published more than 560 peer-reviewed papers in respected journals.

Chadwycke Smith

Chad Smith is an experienced healthcare professional with a career spanning over 13 years as a registered nurse and 7 years as a nurse practitioner. Originally from Ohio, Chad pursued higher education in Kentucky before embarking on a journey that allowed him to practice in diverse healthcare settings across the United States.


Now back in Los Angeles after several years away, Chad works alongside renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Aaron Cohen-Gadol at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, where he contributes to groundbreaking advancements in the field.


A loving father to two children, Chad is also a music fanatic and has a deep passion for high technology, futurism, consciousness, and photography—interests that reflect his curious and innovative spirit both personally and professionally.
